I love working mornings. From where I sit, I get to see the world light up around me. The whole universe seems to become cloaked in a shade of light, and every time I look up, it's brighter. I never see it change; it's like a watched pot. It doesn't change before my eyes; it when my eyes are turned away. I think this is similar to our spiritual lives. We don't necessarily see ourselves changing, and we most certainly don't think we're doing well spiritually, but if you look back at past things you've written, you can see the change. And isn't the point of being a Christian similar to being a blinding light, but our target is Satan?

A Second Cipher
You must take Caesar with you to the Year of Independence. But beware! Caesar must come first! He becomes touchy if he is not followed.

Off With It's Head!
Yesterday Daddy cut down a dead tree that was in the front of our yard. It was a rather large tree, and he had to use a device he made to climb it. Dad said the tree swayed and moved, and he didn't enjoy it!
We kids had to watch him some in case he needed help. The bugs were nasty, though, and we didn't want to stay outside. We wanted to go inside away from the little bloodsuckers. We stayed out anyway, because Dad wanted us to. We each did some thing while we were waiting to go inside. Lydia read a historical fiction book, Daniel fought imaginary enemies and talked to himself, and L PDGH D FURVVZRUG SXCCOH RXW RI PB IDFHERRN IULHQG'V QDPHV.

Computer Turn-off Week
Last week I didn't use my computer at all. This meant no email, forums, or even blogs. After the first few days I found it pretty easy to handle. One good thing that came about because of comp-off week, though, was I had more time to do many other things, like read. My siblings also played more games last week than in any previous month. It was fun, and even though I can use the computer all I want now, I don't feel like it. Now it makes my eyes hurt. Over all, I'm very thankful that I did it and hope that it has some lasting effects on me.

Journals
I have many hobbies. Too many, in fact. One of them is hand binding books. My first one was my black leather journal. I simply glued some pieces of paper together, threw on a leather cover, and voila!
My next one was a flip top leather covered journal for my sister. Same method as the first.
But after that, I started getting better. The third journal was sewn, with proper signatures, endpapers, and mulls. The cover was out of fabric and manila folder.

Abigail's Address-- my new blog
I made this blog for posting whatever I want whenever I want. This means I might post pictures of my trip one day, and the next post about how citrus affects children's teeth. No rhyme or reason whatsoever.
